Most ballroom dancers will come from their native country and move to the West Coast. They’ll often adopt the dances of the area they are from. Many new dancers choose to become instructors in the form.
Because they don’t have their own dance experience, they aren’t as familiar with what dance forms are in the United States. For these reasons, they’ll make choices based on trends and movements, not their actions. As a result, many of the Ballet movements are very familiar in the United States.

Learn The Movements
In both ballet and Tango, there are many different types of movements that each dancer learns so that they can be an excellent mimic of the master. Both sets of changes, ballroom, and Tango, will allow the dancer to move gracefully and seductively. When you perform to a partner, you’re still giving the impression that you are dancing with your partner and not your body.
As with any other exotic dance form, Ballet is also a culture and race-based off of many different countries and cultures. Ballet moves are all choreographed and then vary from country to country and culture to culture. Ballet has become more popular recently, and because of this, you’ll find more diversity in the ballet movements than Tango.

The more you practice, the more you’ll be able to do each time you want to perform. This gives you the ability to put together a routine and break it down. After you learn the basic moves, you can choose to add more steps and more positions.
The most important thing when you are practicing Tango at-home practice is to be comfortable. Don’t ever feel self-conscious and push yourself too hard. It’s okay to make mistakes, but make sure you learn from them, and eventually, you’ll get that perfect form.
